The Velokhaya Life Cycling Academy is a non-profit award-winning organisation established in 2003 in Khayelitsha, South Africa. Our aim is to equip youth living in impoverished and underserved communities with the skills and opportunities required to thrive in life. Velokhaya amplifies the inner power of youth through our free, year-round innovative programmes.
Cape Town Cycle Tour
We’re excited to announce that Velokhaya has successfully secured a limited number of entries for the highly anticipated Cape Town Cycle Tour and a percentage of each entry fee will be dedicated to supporting the Velokhaya project.
By allocating a portion of the entry fees to the Velokhaya project, entrants will be contributing to initiatives that uplift and empower individuals through cycling, fostering a sense of community and well-being.
This initiative not only enriches the cycling experience for participants but also makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those supported by the Velokhaya project. With entries for the Cape Town Cycle Tour being closed, this is the best way to ensure you don’t miss out on the biggest party on two wheels taking place on Sunday, 10 March 2024.
